1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the BoPo mobile applications and web platform ("the Platform", "Service") provided by BoPo ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not install or use the Service.
2. License Grant & Restrictions
We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the App strictly for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes on devices owned or controlled by you.
You agree NOT to:
- Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or extract source code from the App.
- Rip, duplicate, redistribute, or commercially exploit the audio recordings, curriculum datasets, or artwork.
- Use the App to develop competing phonetic training software or derivative works without explicit written authorization.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
All contents, audio tracks, curriculum structures, graphics, logos, mascots, user interface designs, and code within the App are the exclusive intellectual property of BoPo and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
4. Subscriptions, Payments & Refunds
Optional Premium upgrades unlock Unlimited Hearts, 100% Ad-Free learning, and full curriculum access. Purchases and subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or secure web checkout (via Stripe).
• Billing: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the conclusion of the current billing cycle via your Apple ID, Google Play, or web customer billing portal.
• Refunds: In-app purchases are governed and processed according to Apple App Store or Google Play refund policies. Web purchases follow Stripe merchant policies.
• Device Entitlement: In accordance with platform guidelines, physical devices holding an active store purchase retain offline Premium access.
5. Educational Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
BoPo is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis for educational and self-study purposes. While we strive for rigorous linguistic accuracy representing standard Taiwanese Mandarin (國語), we make no warranties regarding fluency outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the App.
